Tuesday June 18th I am at our retreat center in Detroit, MI. Sunny, cool weather. Much nicer than Hot Houston. We have an "assembly" at our retreat center. Our province is gathered from East/West/North and South. We will be hearing about and discussing "solidarity." There is a great polarization in our church of conservatives/liberals. We will talk about harmony and oneness and how to achieve this in our communities. Jesus prayed for us to be one. We will also celebrated our many Jubilees and simply celebrate time with each other. I return on Thursday evening and fly to Big Sur, CA. on Friday for my annual retreat: www.contemplation.com Here is my Interview with KBVM.FM Monday June 10th: Simply go to Podcasts and listen.
My summer/fall itinerary is now posted: Missions Here is my promo for the novena I will preach July 18-26th in Metairie, LA. NOVENA Our provincial (Like our Bishop) is here Sunday-Friday to do "visitation." He will stay with us, observe our community and have one on one visits with us. I had a great one on one meeting with him Monday night. Please pray for our community and our provincial, Fr. Don Weber, C.P. I plan on recording a new TV series in early July. I will be on retreat at the end of June for a week.
We are now in Ordinary Time. Read my reflection at: Ordinary. Our times are in God's hands. We have received the Spirit of Pentecost to guide us in our walk. God touch you and bless you as we follow Jesus.
